Trent 900 Problem Cost Rolls GBP56 million

LONDON

Rolls-Royce 2010 earnings were hit by the uncontained engine failure of a Trent 900 on a Qantas A380 last year, with the financial result of the commercial engines group hit by GBP56 million.
