Iberia Reaches Contract Deal With Pilots

Spanish airline Iberia said on Wednesday it had signed a new collective agreement with pilots union SEPLA.
The deal, which ends a decade of contractual wrangling, puts into place a framework deal agreed January 22, with some modifications relating to pilots aged over 60.
Iberia, which is in advanced merger talks with British Airways, has 1,663 pilots and co-pilots.
The agreement has to be ratified by pilots before entering into effect, Iberia said in the stock exchange statement.
