Vueling Sees Better Q2 After Q1 Loss

Spanish carrier Vueling, which is merging with Iberia unit Clickair, posted an improved first quarter operating loss (EBIT) of EUR9 million euros (USD$11.63 million) on Thursday and said it expected a significant improvement in revenues and costs in the second quarter.

Thursday's result compared to a EBIT loss of EUR32.4 million in the first quarter of last year.
