SEATTLE, Dec. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Boeing (NYSE: BA) and ANA (All Nippon Airways) today announced an order for five 777-200ER (Extended Range) and five 767-300ER jetliners. The order is valued at approximately $2 billion at list prices.

"ANA is a great partner, flying all classes of Boeing airplanes to meet its fleet needs, achieve financial objectives and provide passengers superior comfort," said Marlin Dailey, vice president of Sales, Boeing Commercial Airplanes. "With this order ANA has reaffirmed its confidence in Boeing products."

The 777's operational efficiency, range and large payload capability help airlines make the most of their airplane investment. Exemplary environmental performance makes the 777 a welcome visitor to highly regulated airports. For the second year in a row, readers of American Express' Executive Travel magazine voted the 777 the best airplane on which to fly.

The Boeing 767 is valued by airlines for its proven range, reliability and profitability. The 767-300ER seats 218 passengers in a typical three-class configuration and has a range of nearly 6,000 nautical miles (11,000 km).
