A new Airbus Corporate Jetliner (ACJ) is being displayed at EBACE*, giving visitors the chance to experience for themselves the unmatched comfort, space and freedom of movement that it offers top-of-the-line business jet customers.

The Airbus ACJ on display has a beautiful cabin - outfitted by the Airbus Corporate Jet Centre - featuring lounges, a bedroom, and a bathroom with ensuite shower. It is operated by Acropolis Aviation, which is offering it for VVIP charter with 19 seats, was delivered in March this year, and is based at Farnborough, near London.

The Airbus ACJ Family has a similar length and wingspan to other large corporate jets, but has a cabin that is almost twice as wide, making it the natural choice for customers that want to trade up to something better.

"When you have a corporate jet that is as spacious and comfortable as the Airbus ACJ, the challenge is more in managing its appeal to customers than in promoting it," says Acropolis Aviation Chief Executive Officer David Crawshaw. "We are delighted with our Airbus ACJ, and we know that our customers are going to love it too."

"Our customers tell us that Airbus corporate jets are a great way to fly, as well as being instrumental in helping them to grow the value of their businesses and accomplish more," adds Airbus Chief Operating Officer, Customers, John Leahy. "Our world depends very much on air travel and we offer the world's most modern aircraft family, including Airbus Corporate Jets. We help the global economy grow."

Airbus offers the world's newest and broadest corporate jet family, allowing customers to choose the comfort that they want in the size that they need. It comprises the A318 Elite, Airbus ACJ and A320 Prestige, which deliver unprecedented cabin volume and floorspace, plus corporate jet versions of the A330, A340, A350 and A380, which have more capacity and "nonstop to the world" range.

Airbus corporate jets have won more than 160 orders to date, and are increasingly the preferred choice of companies, individuals and governments. They are flying on every continent, including Antarctica, highlighting their versatility and wide appeal.

The more modern designs of the Airbus Family mean that customers benefit from the latest in onboard comfort and communications, as well as the most efficient aircraft in their class. They also make Airbus corporate jets intrinsically good investments, because they hold their value better.

Airbus Corporate Jets also offer many features that are either unavailable or cost more on competing aircraft, such as Category 3B autoland that allows landings even in poor visibility, time and cost-saving centralised maintenance, and a richer specification that includes more navigational aids.
