EMBRAER AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTER NETWORK EXPANDS IN EUROPE

RUAG opens two new locations in Germany and Switzerland

São José dos Campos, May 4, 2010 – Embraer’s authorized service center network is expanding in Europe with the transfer of RUAG Aviation’s maintenance base from the Zurich Airport to two new locations: one in Oberpfaffenhofen, near Munich, Germany, and the other in Geneva, Switzerland. The Swiss-based Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility will provide Legacy 600 line maintenance services for both scheduled and unscheduled inspections, while the German unit will also offer heavy maintenance, as well as aircraft painting and interior refurbishment.

“RUAG Aviation enjoys an excellent reputation for maintenance, worldwide, and we are
pleased to reinforce our partnership with them to offer new locations for our Legacy 600
customers in Europe,” said Antonio Martini Neto, Embraer Vice President, Customer Support
and Services Europe, the Middle East and Africa – Executive Jets.

“Embraer Legacy operators will now benefit from the one-stop-shop strategy of our
Oberpfaffenhofen facility. With this expanding network, RUAG is now able to offer
comprehensive support – from periodic maintenance work to interior design and painting – at
one location and during a single downtime,” said Beat Höhener, Vice President, RUAG
Business Aviation. “Furthermore, with the new facility in Geneva, customers will have an
additional line service center at one of Europe’s most attractive and highly frequented
business aviation airports.”
