FAA Proposes Changes To Icing Standards

Manufacturers of transport aircraft would be required to demonstrate that an aircraft certified to operate in icing conditions could safely operate in a “supercooled large drops” environment under a new rule proposed June 29 by FAA expanding icing certification standards.
