Embraer participates in the 47th Farnborough Airshow, in the U.K.








Company will promote its commercial portfolio and defense solutions

São José dos Campos, July 12, 2010 – Embraer is looking ahead to participating in the 47th Farnborough International Airshow (www.farnborough.com), July 19-25, at Farnborough Airport (FAB), near London, England, promoting its entire range of products for the commercial aviation and defense markets. During the event, the Company will hold two press conferences, both in the Media Center’s Cody Room, in Hall 1. Monday, July 19, at 1:00 p.m., the spotlight is on the commercial aviation business, followed on Tuesday, July 20, at 10:00 a.m., by the defense segment. The Company’s chalet is A17-18.

Embraer is the world’s leading manufacturer of commercial jets up to 120 seats. It offers the traditional ERJ 145 family of regional jets and the state-of-the-art EMBRAER 170/190 E-Jets family. They provide regional, network, and low-cost carriers with great flexibility, as well as low fuel burn, low emissions and compelling economics, worldwide. Nearly 900 ERJ 145 family regional jets have been delivered, and 56 airlines in 39 countries have placed more than 870 firm orders for the E-Jets.

In the defense segment, Embraer will promote the Super Tucano advanced trainer and light attack turboprop, including its Training and Operation Support System (TOSS), with flight simulator, Computer-Based Training (CBT), Mission Planning Station (MPS), and Mission Debriefing Station (MDS), all of which are in-company solutions. Furthermore, information on the Company’s family of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) jets, aircraft for transporting government officials, and the new EMBRAER KC-390 cargo and troop carrier, which is currently under development, will be available.
