Brian Morgan, head of an eponymous aircraft company, says that the vertical lift business aircraft his Wisconsin firm is developing is likely to be propelled by counter-rotating props rather than by fan jets. “You can’t drive an aircraft more efficiently than with turboprop engines,” he told Aviation Week yesterday, “so that’s certainly what we’ll start out with.” ...
