House May Act On Bonus Depreciation

The U.S. House of Representatives could take action this week on a bonus depreciation extension, already approved by the Senate. The House bill, H.R. 5297, which includes the bonus depreciation measure along with a range of small business assistance and tax incentives, was adopted by the Senate as the Small Business Lending Funding Act of 2010, in a 61-32 vote Sept. 16 after Democrats were able to overcome Republican opposition.
