Shuttle managers ordered repairs Dec. 30, 2010, to additional cracks detected in shuttle Discovery’s external tank, following a launch pad troubleshooting session earlier this month to help establish the cause of four cracks that have had the senior orbiter’s final mission on hold since Nov. 5.
