New money & time saver for aviation English training

Leading online aviation English provider PracticeICAOEnglish.com has announced new low prices for its Done-for-you course – available on line at www.practiceICAOenglish.com.

A company spokesman said this was in response to what the market requested.

He said that many pilots and air traffic controllers try to learn English online using free material rather than paying for courses that teach them systematically to meet the ICAO standards.

Currently the “PIE” course is recommended by COPAC (the official college for commercial pilots in Spain) http://www.copac.es/ and is used by many aviation English teachers in FTOs and airlines as a resource, but many teachers have also been denied approval for the training due to cost. Company treasurers argue that they already pay a language teacher to do the required training. They have to compile their own training materials, leaving standards at the mercy of each individual teacher.

This new repackaging now positions the comprehensive “PIE” course as a “money and time-saver”, costing only 16.50€ a month – or less than the price of a cup of coffee per day – for unlimited access. Trainers can now save valuable time, previously spent scouring the internet for their own random training material – and can be more productive, being face to face with students, delivering standardised material created by certified ICAO raters.

“In this day and age, the material should be served up and available for us on the web, whenever we need it” – says Judith Hinton, CGI of Adventia; European College of Aeronautics, in Salamanca, Spain (http://www.adventia.org/) . “Well done PracticeICAOenglish.com”.

Pilots & air traffic controllers also benefit from having the course for the new longer duration. They can fit study periods around their work and rest schedules.

A free demo of the course and a video demonstration are available at the company’s website: www.practiceICAOenglish.com
