Second NigeriaSat Set To Launch Aug. 17

Nigeria plans to orbit its second Earth-observation satellite — plus a student-built testbed — on a Russian Dnepr launch vehicle Aug. 17, continuing a joint effort with Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd. (SSTL) to bring satellite skills and applications to the most populous African nation.
