Marco Island, Florida, USA, October 2011 – Over 450 participants from 35 countries and 58 airlines have hattended the annual Embraer Operators Conference (EOC) in Florida’s Marco Island from October 16 to 21. The meeting represents an opportunity for new and current Embraer customers to interact with other customers, suppliers, flight operations managers, as well as engineers, pilots, training personnel, and other Embraer specialists.

During the first three days, the meeting focused on the E-Jets family, which is celebrating ten years since its rollout and during the remainder of the week on the ERJ family, which has now accumulated 20 million flight hours. The agenda includes a blend of informative workshops, panel discussions and breakout sessions reflecting input received from both customers and business partners.

“As Embraer aircraft continue entering new markets, as diverse as Kazakhstan and Sierra Leone as well as many other countries, these annual meetings have become essential for our Customer Operators to maximize their operations through reduced maintenance and operating costs, smoother and quicker turnaround times,” said Luiz Hamilton Lima, Embraer Vice President, Services and Support – Commercial Aviation. “The meeting provides ample opportunities for a rich exchange of experiences between operators, service center personnel, suppliers, and Embraer staff.”
