Beijing, China, November 2011 – The Embraer Operators Conference (EOC) in China is being held in the city of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province of China, November 21-25. The event brings together Chinese airline customers and suppliers of both the E-Jets and ERJ 145 families. Guests from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) will also attend.

Embraer organizes an annual worldwide operators meeting, aiming to enhance the operational and maintenance capabilities of its customers by sharing valuable information and experiences, as well as updating the latest technical information of products and services. At the EOC China event, specific topics of importance only to Chinese customers are integrated with issues that were shared on worldwide EOC. The Chinese conference is divided into two parts: one for E-Jets and another for ERJ 145 family operators. Each part has an agenda of workshops and group discussions covering maintenance and engineering, flight support and materials management.

“The annual EOC China event is exclusively dedicated to our Chinese customers. It plays as a highly efficient platform for us to communicate with our customers and better understand their needs. It demonstrates our commitment to satisfy the unique requirements of this market by developing localized and customized solutions,” said Siu Ying Yeung, Chief Operating Officer, Embraer China Aircraft Technical Services Co., Ltd.

EOC China 2011 is the tenth meeting dedicated to Chinese customers. The events in the past few years have witnessed the continuous expansion of Embraer’s customer base and the fleet size in China. Last October, the Company delivered its 100th aircraft in China.
