The largest Russian carrier Aeroflot on the Baltic Ground Services’ clients list

Baltic Ground Services UAB has signed a contract with the largest Russian airlines Aeroflot. According to the agreement, the company will provide the carrier with integrated passenger and ground handling services in Vilnius International Airport (Lithuania) and will serve its daily flights to Sheremetyevo International Airport (Moscow).

Aeroflot is to operate daily flights between Vilnius and Moscow on the new generation Russian-made Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ-100-95) accommodating 87 passengers (12 in business class cabin and 75 in the economy class one). The largest Russian air carrier Aeroflot, established in 1923, operates a fleet of 120 aircraft. In 2016 the company plans to replenish its fleet by 22 new Boeing 787 Dreamliner types of aircraft. In 2011 it carried over 14.7 million passengers (25.6% more than in 2010). The company belong to the airlines’ alliance Sky Team.

Having an enduring experience of working with the leading European aviation companies, Baltic Ground Services has also recently started providing services for the second largest Russian airlines Transaero and the rapidly growing Ak Bars Aero.
