January Passenger Traffic Down At Paris Airports

February 16, 2009

Paris airports operator ADP said on Monday its January traffic fell 7.8 percent compared with January 2008, due to bad weather conditions, a national one-day strike and the global economic slowdown.

Traffic at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport fell 6.5 percent while Paris-Orly Airport traffic was down 10.7 percent.

The group said international traffic dropped 4 percent while domestic traffic was down 4 percent.
