EMBRAER HOLDS THIRD LEGACY 600 OPERATORS MEETING IN MOSCOW

São José dos Campos, October 7, 2009 – Embraer hosts its third Legacy 600 Operators
Meeting in Moscow, today, at Marriott Tverskaya Hotel. This meeting is an excellent
opportunity for strengthening the Company’s relationship with its customers from Russia and
neighboring countries.

“The Legacy 600 Operators Meeting in Moscow provides a great chance for exchanging ideas,
sharing experiences and networking with our operators, technical personnel, and customer

The meeting covers technical issues and updates for the Legacy 600, as well as flight operations
and maintenance programs, with sessions about Embraer Authorized Service Centers; Material
Support, Parts & Logistics; and the Embraer Executive Care (EEC) program.

The Legacy 600 jet entered service in 2002, and shares important qualities with the ERJ 145
regional jet platform, including low fuel consumption, reduced operating costs, ease of
maintenance, and outstanding reliability. With more than 170 flying in 26 countries, worldwide,
the Legacy 600 is customized to the needs of the executive aviation market, offering a range of up to 3,400 nautical miles, or 6,297 km, top-quality interior finishing, three distinct cabin zones,
excellent comfort, and global assistance at dedicated executive jet service centers.

About the Legacy 600 executive jet

The super midsize Legacy 600 carries 13 passengers (standard configuration). The refined interior offers leather seats, sofa, credenza, and tables for meals or meetings. The airplane also has a spacious galley for preparing hot and cold meals, an ample aft lavatory, wardrobes, cabinets, and an entertainment system with DVD and satellite communication. Optional High-Speed Data (HSD) equipment and Wi-Fi technology enable customers to browse the Internet, access e-mails, and transfer files during trips, providing a better use of time, increased work productivity, and more entertainment possibilities. The aircraft has a large baggage compartment, which is easily accessed during flight, and has a total capacity of 286 cubic feet (8,100 liters).

The jet has a cruising speed of Mach 0.80. Its range of 3,250 nautical miles (6,019 km) with eight passengers, or 3,400 nautical miles (6,297 km) with four passengers, both with NBAA IFR fuel reserves, means that the aircraft can fly nonstop from Moscow (Russia) to Beijing (China) or any destination in India, Europe or the Middle East.

The price of the Legacy 600, under 2009 economic conditions, is US$ 27.45 million. Learn
