Volcano Disrupts European Flights

LONDON

The disruptions to European air traffic from the eruption of the Eyjafjallajokul volcano in Iceland will last at least into the weekend, with the British NATS organization saying U.K. airspace is restricted to all but emergency flights at least through 6 a.m. April 16.

NATS closed off British airspace at noon on April 15, at which time many of the country’s airports had already announced closure of flight operations ...
