U.K. firm Hybrid Air Vehicles (HAV) will design the platform for the Long-Endurance Multi-intelligence Vehicle (LEMV) unmanned surveillance airship to be built for use in Afghanistan under Northrop Grumman’s $517 million contract from the U.S. Army.
