FAA Proposes Fine for Dassault Falcon

WASHINGTON

FAA is proposing a $450,000 civil penalty against Dassault Falcon Jet Corp. and its completion center at Little Rock, Ark., for installing improperly electroplated parts on aircraft.

The electroplating process on hundreds of decorative and structural airplane parts was completed by companies that did not have the required specialized service rating to perform such work, according to FAA. And if the work is ...
