Embraer executive operators conference take place in Brazil
EEOC 2010 to be held in São Paulo, August 10 and 11
São José dos Campos, August 2010 – The Embraer Executive Operators Conference (EEOC) is being held on August 10 and 11, and is dedicated to Phenom 100, Phenom 300, and Legacy 600 operators in Brazil. EEOC 2010 takes place in São Paulo, and is a great opportunity for the Company to interact with customers, suppliers, and service centers.
“We are satisfied to welcome our customers and product and service suppliers, in order to share ideas and experiences for improving the operational performance of our executive jets,” says Edson Carlos Mallaco, Embraer Vice President, Customer Support and Services – Executive Jets. “The relevance of this event increases at the same pace as the expansion of the fleet in operation. One year ago, we had 14 executive jets flying in Latin America. Now, this number reaches 67 airplanes, 60 of which in Brazil.”
In the event, Embraer will introduce the new Executive Jets Customer Support and Services Director for Latin America. André de Castilho Silva was named last June, and Tarcízio de Paiva, who temporarily held this position, will continue as the person responsible for global customer support for the Legacy 600 and the Lineage 1000.
“André’s experience in the last five years, as the coordinator of customer support for commercial and executive aviation in Asia Pacific, based in Singapore, will be very important for consolidating our relationships with Latin American customers,” Mallaco adds.
The growing Brazilian fleet of executive jets manufactured by Embraer already numbers 47 Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 aircraft, as well as 13 Legacy 600s. Last May, the Company delivered the first Phenom 300 to a customer in Brazil.
According to André de Castilho, “during EEOC 2010, Embraer will show the most recent updates in its complete portfolio, and promote an information exchange between participants through workshops and Embraer’s discussion panels.”
