JAL Sheds Subsidiaries

Restructuring Japan Airlines (JAL) said Aug. 10 it is selling majority control of its Kansai-based passenger and ground-handling subsidiaries to Konoike Transport Co. Ltd., which specializes in outsourcing and logistical support services.
