Delta Defers 787 Order To 2020 And Beyond

Delta Air Lines reached an agreement with Boeing to defer the delivery of 18 Boeing 787-8 aircraft for about a decade, the carrier disclosed in a regulatory filing Oct. 25. The deal keeps the aircraft on Delta’s order books, but shows how long the airline is willing to wait to acquire new widebodies.
