Fokker Aircraft Services has become one of the newest members of the Middle East Business.

In response to its rapidly expanding Middle East and North African customer base, Fokker Aircraft Services (FAS) has become one of the newest members of the Middle East Business Aviation Association (MEBAA). Furthermore, in support of the Association and to meet with current and prospective customers, FAS will exhibit at the Middle East Business Aviation (MEBA) exhibition, 7 - 9 December 2010 in Dubai. Representatives of Fokker Aircraft Services can be found at Booth E345.

In recent years FAS hangars have welcomed increasingly more Boeing and Airbus aircraft for a range of VIP completion, conversion and refurbishment programmes, in addition to maintenance, repair and overhaul services. This past February, FAS saw the delivery of a VIP Airbus A318 completed for a customer based in the Middle East. Currently the company is in the final stages of the VIP completion of an African customer’s A320.

“Fokker Aircraft Services is proud to be a member of MEBAA. It is a strong organisation for all who take part in the business aircraft industry and in such an important region. We are pleased to already count some important companies in this part of the world as customers. With our rich heritage and expertise in outfitting VIP cabin interiors for Airbus ACJ, Boeing BBJ, Bombardier and Gulfstream aircraft, in addition to the attractiveness of our new Total Care Programme, we have captured the attention of a growing customer base, particularly in the Middle East,” says Eric Cuppen, Fokker Aircraft Services Director Aircraft Completions and Conversions.

Founded in 1919, Fokker has an ‘old world’ appreciation for the details that go into designing, assembling and maintaining a modern aircraft. FAS’ completion, conversion and refurbishment services span initial design to full support. Both exterior and interior modifications can be performed customized to individual needs.

Fokker Aircraft Services is located in the Netherlands and boasts five hangars spanning 16,000m2, plus backshops. FAS services include operational mission analysis, customized cabin design, system design and integration, and flight testing and certification to GCAA, EASA, FAA or local standards.

Because Fokker Aircraft Services is also an EASA, GCAA and FAA Part 145 approved maintenance facility, it can as well provide turnkey MRO solutions. And post-delivery, ongoing comprehensive service support helps solidify the relationship FAS has with customers and their aircraft.
