Embraer welcomes Jackie Chan to the Legacy 650



World-esteemed movie star to be brand ambassador of Embraer Executive Jets .

Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, October 2011 – Embraer announced, on October 9, at a press conference held at the NBAA 64th Annual Meeting & Convention (www.nbaa.org), in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S., that the world-esteemed movie star Jackie Chan (www.jackiechan.com) will soon join its Legacy 650 family of operators and become a brand ambassador of Embraer Executive Jets. Jackie Chan appeared via a video at the press conference, since he was not able to attend in person due to other business engagements.

Born in Hong Kong, Jackie Chan is globally renowned and respected for his success in numerous hit movies, commitment to world philanthropic causes, and devotion to the promotion of Chinese culture throughout the world.

The large Legacy 650 has a range of 3,900 nautical miles (7,223 kilometers) and can fly nonstop from Beijing (China) to Dubai (United Arab Emirates) or from Hong Kong (China) to Adelaide (Australia), with four passengers under NBAA IFR condition. The state-of-the-art Honeywell Primus Elite™ avionics suite greatly enhances situational awareness and flight safety. Three distinct and spacious cabin zones, a fully equipped wet galley and the largest in-flight accessible baggage compartment in its class are additional highlights. The Legacy 650 also provides an ideal working environment for business elites with such high-tech features as Wi-Fi.

Since Embraer entered the executive aviation market in 2001, the past decade has led Embraer Executive Jets to be one of the top brands in the world executive aviation market.
