Baltic Aviation Academy Clients Are Able to Book Courses Faster via New Online Service System

On the 8th of December, 2011, Vilnius based aviation training centre Baltic Aviation Academy (BAA) introduced a brand new online service system ‘My BAA’. The innovative system allows BAA clients to access and manage their ordered services from any corner of the world at any time via the web.

‘My BAA’ beta version released to a number of the Academy’s clients for testing purposes in September 2011 is currently used by over 1000 private and corporate customers worldwide, including Scat Air, Belavia, UTair, Aerosvit, Tajic Air, Small Planet and LeadAir airlines.

The new system will enable corporate clients to manage their training profile, monitor schedule planning, book slots in full flight simulators and track all relevant training data, accessible to their employees only. Moreover, ‘My BAA’ offers a free tool designed to assist the BAA pilots in generating their CVs. They can then send these to potential employers directly via the same system.

‘My BAA’ is a project to be launched in a number of phases. The next phase will be marked by introducing additional applications such as group photo sharing and discussions with training instructors. The users will be able to access these as early as in February 2012. “My BAA” client service system can be accessed by BAA customers only.

‘New technologies have made many areas of our professional and everyday lives so much easier. We are delighted that our new ‘My BAA’ system will free our customers from a heavy load of tiring administrative tasks. From now on training managers can generate training schedules and monitor progress in a single click of a computer key. It saves time for our self-sponsored students and administrative personnel too. We believe that utilizing the digital age technologies will also minimize misunderstandings resulting from numerous phone calls, piles of files sent by different people and simple human errors in general,’ said the CEO of Baltic Aviation Academy Egle Vaitkeviciute.

The social ‘My BAA’ system segment is to be launched within the next 3 months and will mark the final phase of the project. The social media section will enable users to keep in touch with their classmates and training instructors, exchange photos and create discussion groups where members can discuss a variety of issues with other pilots trained at the academy.

‘Social media has become a large part of our daily activities in terms of finding new friends and locating the long lost ones, obtaining and sharing useful information, expressing and exchanging opinions, attitudes and beliefs. ’My BAA‘ final version is designed to unite the entire academy’s community – from Ab Initio and self-sponsored students to airline representatives and training instructors. It will help to keep in touch with your academy colleagues and instructors, remember the great times you had while executing your type rating training or share the latest news with a group of only particular aircraft type pilots. ’My BAA‘ will include numerous functions fostering interaction and partnership throughout the entire BAA community,’ said Egle Vaitkeviciute, the CEO of Baltic Aviation Academy.

‘My BAA’ online client service system can be accessed by logging onto the academy’s website http://www.balticaa.com/en/my-baa/. To utilize the system, customers are required to key in a unique login number provided by their training manager or their personal account manager at Baltic Aviation Academy.
