Zimmer, Salina Airport Authority to showcase available facilities

Zimmer, SAA to showcase available facilities (April 4, 2012) -Zimmer Real Estate Services, L.C. is hosting an open house of available buildings at the Salina Airport Industrial Center and Salina Aviation Service Center in Salina, Kan. The offerings include approximately 12 buildings totaling around 500,000 square feet available for lease.
The open house for users will begin at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 5 at Hangar 600 (2720 Arnold Court). Tours of available facilities will be broken into groups based on size and needs of prospective users. The local brokerage community will be able to tour the facilities at 1 p.m.
"The available buildings represent an opportunity for the community to be able to accommodate the expansion of our local companies as well as the recruitment of new businesses from out of town," said Zimmer Vice President Tracey Mann, CCIM, LEED AP.

 The Salina Airport Authority is a body corporate and politic. The Authority was created by the City of Salina in April 1965 pursuant to the authority granted by the City by the surplus property and public airport authority act of the State of Kansas. The Authority is managed and controlled by a five-member Board of Directors appointed by the Salina City Commission.
The Salina Airport Authority is home to the Salina Municipal Airport, the Salina Aviation Service Center and the Salina Airport Industrial Center. The board of directors and staff are proactive in providing the citizens ofSalina, Saline County and North Central Kansas with a center that support business and industry, which, in turn, provides jobs and payroll that benefit the region.
The Salina Municipal Airport is the only commercial service airport serving Salina/Saline County and the 22-county area, which comprises North Central Kansas.
